So, in typical life fashion, my run of good days and weekends finally ran out. I won’t dive into all of it since I swore I’d keep this blog as positive as possible, but the combination of my cousin, my father, and my stepmother coming into town combined with visiting my brother turned into an exhausting nightmare. Then on Sunday even more damaging family stuff happened, but enough about that.
Honestly, I think I like the idea of owning them better than actually owning them because I know if I buy them they’ll sit on a shelf until I just get rid of them. It’s not like I have kids to hand them down to, and let’s be honest, are they really going to want toys from a cartoon that was out 30-40 years before they were born? Had someone handed me a Howdy Doody when I was a kid, I’d quickly put it down and picked up a Transformer.
I have six days off beginning on Wednesday and quite excited about it. I don’t have anywhere to go or anything major to do, so I plan on catching up on some spring cleaning and watching a ton of movies I’m behind on. At least that’s the plan right now.
