The Darlings brought in their family therapist from Austria to help Clarissa. They’re convinced she’s fabricated a fantasty world in her head about Nick, her job, etc. Things go from awkward to high drama in seconds as Clarissa explodes and the truth begins to fly. She tells her parents how she tried to come clean but they were too self-obessed. She admitted to struggling in her twenties and that her entire family was crazy. Then Clarissa spots Roxie and takes off after her. She tracks her back to Nick’s studio which is now empty and Nick is gone.
It was nice to hear Clarissa finally come clean to her parents, although she didn’t really break down all the details. Marshall took the first real step in repairing his marriage and Clarissa went hunting for peace with Roxie.
