I set out to have a relaxing weekend, and I believe I achieved it. Was I all that productive? Nah, but I did watch some movies and TV shows, did some laundry, and ran a few errands. I ate well, slept well, and laughed a lot. What more can you ask for in life?
I watched a fantastic episode of Psych called Saturday the 17th, which was a nice take on Friday the 13th and will definitely enter my Halloween watch list. Heck, I may review it for my horror site since it is such a fun homage.
I watched Julie and Julia, Zombieland Double Tap, and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark this weekend. I also watched the first half of The Big Lebowski, since blogging about it last week had made thinking about it. I just gotta finish it up over the next few days. With that movie being complete, I’ll be up to 38 movies watched this year, which is impressive since I started off so slow in January/February.
I did tweak my knee somehow though, and it’s been killing me. Hell, I haven’t done anything, so I’m not sure how I tweaked it. I guess we will just chalk it up to old age.
For Easter, Brandy gave me a couple of great gifts. One, she bought me a silicon band that I can wear before or after we get married. It’s a little big and has to be swapped out but that was very sweet.
Two, she got me this amazing Halloween VHS blanket. I saw it a month or so ago, and loved it. It was a total surprise and goes down as one of my favorite gifts ever.
